Joshua holds a J.D. from the University of Maine School of Law where he graduated with honors and distinction from the Environmental and Oceans Law program. He brings his academic background and passion for administrative law to Jackson and MacNichol’s VA practice. Prior to law school Josh earned his B.A. in History and Political Science in the Dewey Honors College of the University of Vermont in 2018.

While in law school Joshua worked as a student attorney for the Cumberland Legal Aid Clinic, practicing family, immigration, and criminal law. He also worked as an intern for a criminal defense firm and as a extern for the Friends of Casco Bay, learning administrative law and advocating for responsible ocean law policy.

Joshua feels privileged for the opportunity to practice administrative law in Jackson & MacNichol’s VA division. The position at Jackson & MacNichol is Josh’s first opportunity to practice within the veteran’s law speciality and he is please to veing his VA career here in his native Portland, Maine. When not working, Joshua enjoys spending time with his family, skiing, woodworking, and competitively racing sailboats along Maine’s beautiful coastline.
