Education: Kristian earned his J.D., cum laude, in 2013 from the University of Maine School of Law and his B.A., magna cum laude, in 2008 from the University of Southern Maine.

Kristian joined Jackson & MacNichol as a Social Security attorney in 2017, but he is no stranger to helping people navigate the challenges of government programs. Prior to joining Jackson & MacNichol, Kristian practiced immigration law, representing clients before U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services and the Immigration Court. He has also worked as a Community Case Manager, where he helped to connect people with the programs and benefits they need.

Kristian also interned at the U.S. Attorney’s Office and worked as a policy analyst for the Maine Office of the State Coordinator for Health Information Technology. He was selected as a member of the Moot Court team and is a recipient of Maine Law’s Pro Bono Publico award.

When he isn’t fighting for justice, Kristian enjoys playing music, reading, and fixing old Jeeps.
