Victoria “Tori” Bishop, is from a military family and grew up on Air Force bases all over the United States and overseas. Tori has had a passion for helping veterans and their families since she was a young girl and her mother was deployed.<\/p>\n

Tori earned a B.S. in psychological science at the University of Vermont, focusing her study in family psychology. While at her undergrad, Tori was a Research Assistant in the Family Development Lab, helping conduct studies regarding children and stress. She also became the first juvenile law intern at the Chittenden County Public Defender’s Office.<\/p>\n

Tori chose to attend the University of Maine School of Law after receiving a merit scholarship. While in law school, Tori was a member of multiple student organizations with a focus on human rights. In her classes she focused on health care and human rights law, earning an award for the highest marks in Bioethics, Medicine and the Law. Tori completed an externship at the Maine Office of the Public Advocate where she worked on legal research regarding\u00a0utility\u00a0regulations in Maine. She also spent a summer as a legal extern at Casco Bay Law, PPLC, focusing on estate planning. Tori started working at Jackson & MacNichol as a law clerk in 2018 and has continued on as an attorney after graduation.<\/p>\n

When not working, Tori enjoys reading, playing with her dogs, and attending musicals.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
