Tyler Charles Hadyniak is an “Of Counsel” attorney at Jackson and MacNichol. He grew up in Freedom, Maine, and graduated with honors from Mount View High School, Class of 2011; the University of Maine at Farmington, Class of 2015; and the University of Maine School of Law, Class of 2018.
While in college, he studied abroad in Berlin, Germany; twice worked for Senator Angus S. King, Jr., (I-ME); and served as the University of Maine System’s student trustee. In law school he interned for Waldo County state senator, and then-Maine Senate President, Mike Thibodeau. He managed a successful, Western Maine-based state senate campaign in 2016, 2018, and 2020.
He has memorialized the beginning of his legal career in his December 2020 published book, There and Back Again: America Through the Eyes of a Traveling Veterans Disability Attorney.
He writes the Republican Journal’s weekly Freedom Town Column; is the Freedom Town Charter Commission Chairman; Freedom Planning Board Chairman; and a Freedom Community Historical Society board member.
When not working, you can find him reading, playing ice hockey, running, hiking, or planning his next road trip. He lives in Freedom with his wife, Catherine, and daughter, Sophia. He is admitted to practice law in Maine courts, and the Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims.
